Oxford. Is. Amazing.
I have had the most amazing last two days exploring my new home. I can't believe I get to live here in this amazing historic town.
Not only is Oxford the home of Oxford University, but it is one of the most culturally diverse cities in England. Which is evident at the farmers market I visited yesterday. Full of amazing produce, cheese, fresh flowers, and hot food from around the world! The fooooood. Oh the food. Dumplings = the best I've ever had! And churros! I want to eat them everyday of my life. This is a market I will be visiting every week!
Oxford is also in the perfect position on the river Thames where you can see boat races or even go punting with friends! I'm told this is a great thing to do in the summer along with visiting the beer gardens along the river in the summer. I can't wait!
This is an amazing city, and because it was pretty much left alone during the German air raids in WWII, the cities amazing sites and historical buildings are all pretty much in tact. That means everything is old! Which is the best part about England! So come and visit, if I love it, I know you will too!
