Top 5 March favourites!-

This month has been amazing!
I'm finally in England with my husband! We're moving into our house soon, and I could not be happier. March is always a great month, and this year is no different. Here are a few of my March favourites!

1) Boyfriend jeans and my zara pumps. Slouchy meets chic! Now I'm no stranger to boyfriend jeans, but I am obsessed with this pairing. I love the classy feminine black pump mixed with the masculine distressed denim. Takes the jeans to a whole different level.

2) Silver! I've been more of a gold fan in the last few years, but lately silver is really calling my name. "Chelsey! Chelsey! Pair us with your pastel colours! We look great!" Alright silver, I'll do it! I love it with black as well, for a more dramatic look.

3) Fringe! Guys this is gonna be a big trend. I've already got my eye on a missguided black fringe skirt, not to mention this fabulous TopShop bag!

4) Sleeveless Blazers/over coats. What a great way to elevate your look! This is the perfect third peice to any outfit. I'm actually really loving it with my boyfriend Jean/black pump combo. But really there's a lot you can pair with this peice. I've got my eye on a shorter white one as well.

5) England. It's green and wonderful. I mean I already knew I loved it, but it's a bit scary moving to a new place let alone another country. But this place could not be more beautiful if it tried. It's so unfair that they have so much history here. As an American growing up the oldest thing around is maybe from the 1800s. My husband grew up in a house that was more than 400 years old... How. Cool. Is. That!! If you haven't made it here yet, do it, and don't just go to London. In fact skip London all together. Head to the north or the very South. You won't regret it.

I hope April is as lovely as March!

How to distress your denim.-

I have been searching for the perfect black distressed denim skinnies for like a year! So yesterday when I was out shopping with my new family, I thought, perfect timing. Find some today. They're everywhere TopShop, River Island, Urban outfitters. Everyone has them, but alas, I hated every pair I tried on. I wanted them to fit like this perfect pair of black denim that I had back at home. I had the thought of cutting them myself before but I didn't want to mess up and ruin them. But yesterday when I couldn't find anything I liked, I just decided to go for it! It's so so simple. Here's what I did!

Step one-mark where you want the holes to be. I wanted them on my knees, so I put them on and used fabric chalk to make a line right across my knee.

Step two-make the cut. I wanted a cut straight across. You can multiple cuts or one. It's really up to you.

Step three-try them on! They're exactly what I want!

Over time and after a few washes they should start looking better and better. So if you can't find the perfect distressed denim. Make your own!

Spring up your winter wardrobe.-

Do you know what I love? Spring. What a lovely time. Everything is turning green again, people are excited to get outside, and we can finally wear our shorts again! Well...kind of. We have to wear them with oversized sweaters, tights, and jackets, but that shouldn't stop us from incorporating spring styles into our wardrobes even if it might still feel like winter. My favourite thing to do is a big chunky sweater with denim shorts. I paired my favourite winter forever21 sweater with my J.Crew denim shorts and added a scrappy wedge sandle for a casual spring/winter mix. I also love my leather sleeve jacket from forever21. I wear it all the time (like everyday...whoops) and pairing it with this cute floral romper and these Zara boots that I've been wearing all winter is a perfect combination right now, and if its a colder day I just add tights and I'm set. So even though it's still feels like winter I'm not gonna let that stop me from adding a little sping into my wardrobe.

All black (mostly) everything.-

There's something so wonderful about the simplicity of black and white. I put together this outfit for a day out shopping with the husband. I love the contrast of all black with the white skirt. It made for a perfectly comfortable outfit that's also quite stylish. Plus it's still a bit cold here in England so I paired it with my black leather jacket and tights.

Date night in Manchester!-

Yesterday was absolutely perfect. I finally made it here to England and I could not be happier. On top on arriving here my Husband took me out on the most perfect date night in Manchester for my birthday.

This city is amazing, I've been here before, but I'd forgotten what an amazing atmosphere this town creates. It was only a Thursday, but the city was buzzing with life. If you ever make it here, you have to stop by the Alchemist in spinningfields. They have the most unique cocktails that accompany the magical/scientific theme. We also really enjoyed Grand Pacific, for a Thursday night the music in the place was awesome and the beach resort decor was absolutely needed on a cold night. The highlight of the entire night though was definitely our dinner at Rosso's. If you like Italian food, and don't mind seeing the occasional footballer this is the place to be. The food was spectacular, and because it's situated in an old bank the space is really gorgeous.

I wish we could stay longer. Actually if I could, I'd live here. This city has a vibe that's exciting and there's always something to do. What an amazing way to start the last year of my twenties.

Comfortably chic.-

I' m finally in the UK! I can't believe it! I spent a lot of hours on planes and in airports, but it was all worth it! Especially since I was comfortable. For me and I think most people when flying it's super important to be comfortable, but that doesn't mean you have to sacrifice style. I wore my favorite J.Crew pixie pants, have you ever heard of these? If not go to your nearest J.Crew and buy them. Seriously. I paired them with my black prima cotton tee, some amazingly comfy Primark studded flats, and my Forever21 leather jacket. I never hesitate to accessorize either! So I had my double chain necklace from forever21, and my favorite scarf from River Island. I am so excited to be in Manchester.  We've already got a fun date night planned!

Men's wear chic.-

Mens and women's clothing. What's really the difference in a garment if you can make it work for you? Granted this piece isn't that far off from actual women's wear, but still it's fun to be creative and see what you can come up with. Don't mind the label! If you like something, put it on and rock it. You can make anything look stylish with a smile and some confidence.

I spotted this men's shirt on my last day of work at J.Crew. I love it. Indigo and warm red floral. Very spring! Pair it with our distressed boyfriend jeans and the lovely dulci suede heels, and I think you've got the perfect spring look.

Date night!-

Or what I like to call mom date night. Since I can't go on dates with my husband yet, I have been taking full advantage of living in the same state as my parents. My mom and I love to go to movies and we especially love Margaritas. I am trying to spend as much time with her (and dad too!) before I move to England. So we usually like to have date nights either Friday or Saturday. This week it's Margaritas and I think this little Black number is the perfect dress for a night of tacos and tequila.

Another spring work look!-

I don't have time to do the full post I meant to do today so I shall post my current work look for you. Still feeling very spring out here in Arizona it's hard to remember that in most of the world it's winter still. I think we're all in need of a springy boost. So today I paired my floral J.Crew collection top, with a navy mini skirt, and my favorite forever 21 shoes. I hope you all are having a fantastic Wednesday!

Spring it up!-

Spring is in the building! And it's in the form of this awesome little playsuit/romper! I am absolutely in love with this piece. Number one the pattern...HELLO. I would honestly own pants, a jacket, a tee shirt, anything with this beautiful floral pattern. Secondly, I also just love a good romper I think they are so fun and flattering. Third, the 70s detailing. Keep an eye out for this. I have been seeing so much of the 70s influence everywhere. Flares are coming back people, they're coming back! Speaking of flares, I love the flared sleeves on this, and the open neckline. Feels very sexy and disco. I also love the girly hemline on the bottom of the shorts. Very playful and fun. I am so excited to wear this out.

Another great thing about this one is how versatile it can be. Pair it with a clutch and pumps for a night out, or throw on some booties and a jacket for a day time look.

Day or night I'm ready for spring in this one!

She works hard for the money.-

Happy Sunday! I hope you all slept in and are now having a perfect lazy day.

Just thought I'd do a little work outfit post. This was my work outfit for Friday. I was feeling super tired from a long week and I wanted to be comfy, so I decided I needed to wear my new boyfriend jeans! I love pairing something so casual like boyfriend jeans and a t-shirt, with an edgy jacket. To pull the outfit together and elevate it even more I wear a statement necklace, a bold lip color, and super feminine sandals! Nothing like paring masculine and feminine for a fabulous casual Friday!

February finds!-

February is always a weird in between month. All of the exciting spring clothes are coming out, but most of us can't even wear them! It's still winter in most parts of the world. So this months finds are kind of a mix up.

I made my way to Forever 21 yesterday and I found some pretty amazing stuff! First a black turtleneck dress that I've been wanting forever. It's the perfect everyday wear dress. Simple and chic for everyday wear and use, plus this kind of thing has no season. Minus wearing it in the dead of summer, you are pretty much free to rock it most of the year. Second, I've been wanting a pair of light wash denim boyfriend jeans. I have a ton of dark denim, but I've really be loving the look of the lighter denim. found these and they're perfect! Third, I found this AMAZING floral romper/playsuit. It's the perfect spring look. It's got all of the trendy 70s elements flared sleeves and an open collar. Lastly, I found this really cute white lacy top. I'm a sucker for super girly things like this. I think it will be perfect paired with the light wash denim and some strappy black heels.

Currently putting together a work look that incorporates the denim so I can wear them tonight! I can't wait!

London Fashion Week!

As New York Fashion week comes to an end, London Fashion week begins! How Majorly exciting!
I have to say I was thoroughly impressed with New York Fashion week this year, and I am excited to see what London has in store! I have already seen some really amazing stuff. Guys get ready the 70s are coming back. Get ready to rock some flare jeans or a Jumpsuit because I'm seeing some serious 70s inspo! It's only the first day so I am sure we will be seeing some other really amazing great things. I'm currently super excited for TopShop Unique! I can't wait to see what the brand will put out on the runway this Sunday.

That's all for now, stay tuned today I have a Forever 21 haul in with some cute Spring stuff!

Top 6 current obsessions.-

I couldn't narrow the list down to 5 so I had to make it a top 6!

Number 6. J.Crew Sequin Floral sweater! I love the bead work, it's so feminine and delicate. It's classic J.Crew with and updated twist. Right now in store we have a neutral color with grey beading, and a mint color with orange beading. The Mint one is my favorite. It's so unique!

Number 5. Acai bowls. Hello. It's the perfect healthy natural snack. If I could, I'd eat one for every meal.

Number 4. My forever 21 white cut out shoes. I wear these with everything. They're the perfect spring/summer shoe.

Number 3. My Plum Pretty Sugar robe. Buying this beautiful robe was the best idea I've ever had. I wear it every day.

Number 2. Purple lip color. Both of these Sephora lip colors are amazing. Especially the blackberry shade. It's a twist on a classic red, which I was rocking a lot this fall/winter.

And the number one thing I'm obsessed with at the moment. Arizona winters. It's February and it's 84 degrees. I won't be here for long, but I'm trying to make the most of it. I'm pretty sure it never reaches 84 degrees in England...ever.

A little Sparkle never hurt nobody.-

I recently re-fell in love with my J.Crew Denim vest. I haven't worn it in awhile and the other day I saw it in the closet and I thought I'd wear it. I can't believe I ever forgot about it. It's the perfect added piece for any outfit. It will go with everything, you can dress it up or down. It's absolutely perfect. Here's todays current work look.

Forever 21 silk joggers, and sparkle crop, paired with my J.Crew Denim vest and even though you can't see them I'm rocking my Zara black pumps.

I added my double chain necklace later and I think it gives the outfit an extra boost of fabulous.

Go out and get yourself a Denim vest, you wont regret it!

J.Crew jewelry, I have an obsession.-

Right now it's all about the accessories!

I am currently in love with this new piece from J.Crew. It's funky and colorful. It's the perfect piece to add to a work outfit to make you stand out!

I absolutely love this one as well. It's really grown on me. I wasn't too sure at first, because it's silver, and the jewel colors are so bold, but the more I look at it the more I think it would be perfect with a little black dress. I paired it with a black clutch and a silver square bangle we have in store, and I think I'm fully convinced I love it. Watch out for more silver. I think it's making a comeback.
